Skills for Health, part of the Workforce Development Trust, in partnership with the UK Government, has launched a public consultation on the civil contingencies suite of National Occupational Standards (NOS) in support of the UK Government Resilience Framework.

Review of Oral National Health Standards

The need to revise these Oral Health NOS has arisen following the introduction of new General Dental Council (GDC) Safe Practitioner Standards for the dental team.  These new standards for proficiency for the dental team known as ‘Safe Practitioner’, were published by the General Dental Council in November 2023, which the NOS must now reflect.

Developing a Feldenkrais Method Teaching National Occupational Standard (NOS)

Skills for Health are working with the Feldenkrais Guild UK to develop a Feldenkrais Method Teaching National Occupational Standard (NOS). The Feldenkrais Method is an educational system that uses movement to teach self awareness and improve function.
