Jemma Jones is a Senior Researcher at Skills for Health, having joined the organisation in March 2022. With over 10 years of experience in quality assurance, research, and evaluation in skills and workforce development, Jemma has worked extensively with a range of third, public and private sector organisations, including justice, community safety, and health and social care sectors.

Jemma has a Masters degree in Social Research Methods, with qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis expertise. Jemma has successfully managed a range of formative and summative evaluation projects. Jemma is a Social Return on Investment practitioner and is PRINCE 2 qualified. Jemma values helping employers improve their workforce, which ultimately makes a difference to so many people’s lives. She feels passionate about the need for increased evidence-based practice and finding innovative solutions to achieve this aim.

Jemma is particularly interested in cross-sector, multi-agency collaborative working and improving participation, equality, and social mobility. Jemma works within the Research and Evaluation team, at Skills for Health, alongside Head of Research Jon Parry, Senior Researcher Dr Brenda Gonzalez Ginocchio, Senior Workforce Data Analyst Niall Allen-Curry, and Researcher Alex Hetherington.
