The Modern and Technical Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care are developed and maintained in partnerships with the Scottish Social Services Council who provide certification for the frameworks. Certification FAQs

Skills for Health issues certificates for Dental Nursing, Healthcare Support (Clinical), Healthcare Support (Non-Clinical), Optical Practice Support and Pharmacy Apprentices in Scotland. From November 1st 2013 all certification and registration claims must be made via MA Online.

Where are my certificates?

All applications are approved or rejected within 10 days. Skills for Health aims to send all certificates at the APPROVED stage of the process within 10 days of confirmation of payment. If you have not paid for your certificates you will not receive them until payment has been cleared. Payment details can be found below.

How do I pay Skills for Health for my certificates – Scotland?

Payment for Skills for Health certificates should be made either by BACS or cheque. When paying by BACS it is important to send us information detailing the names of each apprentice your BACS payment relates to. This can be emailed to apprenticeshipsfinance@skillsforhealth.org.uk. When sending a payment by cheque you must detail the names of the apprentices you are paying for. Cheques must be made payable to Skills for Health Ltd. Certificates are charged at £50 each.
