Sarah Walsh
Coaching Faculty
Sarah’s career to date has centred around facilitating others to be the best they can be. With a background working in change and transformation within the public sector for the last 8+ years, Sarah has coached colleagues across all levels of an organisation. Sarah’s experience spans local government, social care, higher education and the charity sector.
Sarah’s specific area of focus is working with managers, from those who are new into management to those who have been leading teams for years. Managers perform such a crucial role and Sarah has seen first-hand how beneficial coaching can be. The world of work can be challenging for many and has changed so much recently, and coaching provides a pivotal space to explore, reflect, learn and grow. As a coach, Sarah will partner with you to identify your goals and areas of opportunity, help you to understand your strengths, values and skills; gain insight, digging into an issue, need or goal; identify solutions and options; gain commitment, encouraging action and creating accountability.
Sarah has coached managers with a range of challenges from defining their own management styles and identities to developing key skills such as decision making, communication and delegation. This has all been in service of their own personal growth as well as facilitating high performing teams and delivering outcomes. Sarah’s coaching style is reflective, relaxed and purposeful drawing on an extensive toolkit of resources and approaches in service of your goals. Sarah is friendly, professional and approachable and will create a safe, reflective space so you can explore your next steps together.
