NHSE aims to support NHS staff to engage in global health activity throughout their careers. A set of resources and materials is being developed which will support NHS staff and organisations to understand, evidence and fully realise the benefits of engagement in global health. The creation of a Global Health Learning Outcomes Framework is a core part of this work.
Career and Competence Frameworks
The Non-custodial Career and Competence Framework part of the NHS England Health and Justice Inclusive Workforce Programme, which aims to ‘Improve the recruitment and retention of a larger, more diverse, inclusive and representative workforce for all Health & Justice services and programmes’.
This Career and Competence Framework articulates the key competences, knowledge and behaviours required to underpin and promote quality services to meet the needs of adults in the secure and detained estate.
In February 2021 HEE commissioned Skills for Health to lead the development of a Core Capabilities Framework to underpin the new career framework for Medical Associate Professions (MAPs).
