HEE has commissioned Skills for Health to lead the development of Advanced Practice credentials frameworks, providing a consistent standard for multi professional advanced level practice in six specialties.
Capabilities Frameworks
This framework for lower limb viability focuses on the capabilities of advanced practitioners working with individuals with high risk and chronic wounds and who are at risk of losing a foot or lower limb.
In 2019-20, Skills for Health was commissioned to carry out evaluations of several frameworks, to better understand how they are being used and their impact.
The original Dementia Core Skills Education and Training framework was launched in October 2015. In June 2018 a revised and updated version was released, entitled the Dementia Training Standards Framework.
